Dear Minnesota Intercessors,
At the 2009 Deborah Midwest Convocation which was held this past July in Bloomington, Cindy Jacobs released a prophetic word over Minnesota. One portion of prophecy came as a specific directive to Minnesota Intercessors for an "ongoing" fast which has begun in October of 2009. Specifically the Word said that "every day there must be someone fasting for your state." Because this is a call to the state of Minnesota we have launched a 24/7 fast which will be ongoing.

We have formed a FASTminnesota team.  Every intercessor in Minnesota has the opportunity to be a part of this team.  Since the prophetic word was given to the state of Minnesota, and given to those who understand spiritual breakthrough as a result of fasting, it is important that we carry this assignment together.

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie
 the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?"  Isaiah 58:6

By the Spirit of God all things are possible and therefore we are moving forward in obedience.

These are the steps we have in place:

1. Prophetic word released by Cindy Jacobs on July 25, 2009.
And the Lord says that I am calling you to a fast that is a fast that doesn’t stop. Every day there must be someone fasting for your state. The Lord says I am calling you to put a stake in the ground and stand. And upon that stake is righteousness and justice. The Lord says "don’t say it’s somebody else’s job. Because God says it’s your job." Now Lord, anoint! Anoint these men and women. Anoint them Father God! No excuses.

2. FASTminnesota officially began in October 2010 with intercessors who have signed up to fast one day of the week/month for the state of Minnesota. We have suggested that Ministries could choose to cover one weekend a month.

3. We are now beginning to record groups/churches that are moving into extended fasts.
Example: 7 days/21 days/40 days of corporate fasting.

4. We have begun a calendar so we can see how Spirit of God is moving throughout Minnesota to rally the Body of Christ to carry this assignment and not break rank. This calendar will soon be posted on the www.calltothewall.org website.

5. Teresa Newton has come on board to be the Administrator of FASTminnesota and will keep the calendar updated on the Call to the Wall website.
